The following article mentions the budday's.

It's a video world and video gadgets grab the technology headlines. But cool as they are, it's audio gadgets that interest me the most. That's why I was so happy to see that one of my favorites, the Griffin Radio Shark, was recently updated.

The Radio Shark, which gets its name from its fin shape, lets you tune in AM or FM radio on your computer. That's not real exciting-you probably have a radio near your computer anyway-but the Radio Shark adds some useful features that make it a TiVo for radio.

For starters, it lets you time-shift radio, just like a DVR (digital video recorder) does for television. So if you're listening to Jersey City's own WFMU and you don't pay attention when the DJ announces the name of a song, you can just hit the back button and replay what you missed.

You can also pause live programming or schedule a recording. That means if you're going out for dinner and you can't stand to miss Ron and Fez's evening show on FREE FM, you can simply record it.

Radio Shark software saves audio files in the AAC format, so you can easily transfer them to your iPod. The Radio Shark puts radio listening on your schedule, so you can enjoy music or talk when you want.

The improved Radio Shark uses a better radio receiver chip for stronger reception. It also comes with an optional plug-in antenna, to boost performance.

Best of all, the Radio Shark's price has dropped from $69 to $49, making it much more reasonable. The company says that an HD radio version is in the works.

Griffin (www.griffintechnology.com) is a great company for gadget lovers to watch, by the way. I love its new iKaraoke, a microphone that attaches to your iPod and lowers songs' vocal tracks so you can sing over them. I wouldn't want to sing karaoke in public, but I've had a lot of fun doing it privately with the iKaraoke.

That's really cool... obviously a fan. And to be writing about a radio shark... almost a cosmic crazy coincidence going on here!
