First off, I'm sure no one cares about this but me.
Nevertheless...have to give an error to Earl on today's show with the opening music.
Aside from the fact that if you do 'Dead Flowers', you always go Townes Van Zandt version like Ronnie B said, today is the anniversary of Martin Luther King's death.
How you don't go 'Pride (In the name of love)' by U2 is beyond me. It's probably the most famous song written about the guy. When you have lyrics like:
Early morning, April 4
Shot rings out in the Memphis sky
Free at last, they took your life
They could not take your pride
you have to go that route.
Love ya, Earl...you could have gone deep today, but I gotta give you the A-Rod booted ball at 3B.
