We are putting out an open invite to anyone who wants to play, regardless of any board affiliations they may have.

More details will be forthcoming, including exact location, prices, etc. Watch this post/thread for more information.

Question: If your spyder paintgun has been sitting in your trunk for upwards of 5 years, untended, does it need to be replaced, dusted off, and scrubbed shiny again to ensure safety? Or does CCC have to rely on some pump paintgun/ cheap Tippmann 98? (Yeah, it's been some time since I've played)

Yes, you can rent equipment. Personally, I don't own any and will have to rent as well. If anyone has an extra gun they are bringing, please let me know. ;) (I know how good rental guns can be)

I even got stuck filling in for wild thing a 2nd time cause he is such a puss...in my underwear with I think a BB King book stuck in my crotch and being pinned down in the dump room by Ron and Fez. I don't want to hear they weren't powerful and u were so far away..kiss it. 30 ft ain't far?. You try it. All i know is when i was pinned down in the closet I used that army gagd I've seen on so many war movies. I put the goggles in a piece of metal wire, string wire and let it peek outside the dump room and bap bap bap, the glasses went flying in repeated bursts....so powerful yes, could have been eyeballs, yes.

Plus it was standing still and not running around like the little ducks on a pond at the carnival.

the show has changed....sorry...licking jelly off balls or fake fighting, smashing equipment, ineptness andpicking obscure music or whatever...what happened to real life stuff? Pain humiliation and verisimilitude. I want to see men on the show, not boys who say 'I cant do that.' Can't wasn't in our (unless mgmt said so, damn we had some good ideas shot down) dictionary...except wild thing and swiss miss...the biggest pussy of them all. You know what, I've been polite too long, looking at all these polls and crap and half you guys don't know what you missed. You can't have a legitimate poll unless you include DC, WNEW and not all the Johnny come latelys, who you have to either pull a word out of their ,mouth or who wont shut the fuck up. Al Dukes was the straightest, biggest pussy I ever met in my life (shit there goes the free fm gig)....but I tip my hat for him for what he went thru time and time again for the show and was fucking interesting. I remember who lived close and didn't come in When others from far away made it in. Hawk walking against the millions feeing the city on the 59th street bridge to try and walk all the way to work, and he did. I guess for the same reason a lot of us had. If you are in this business and you are not at your job on a day like this, than maybe it isn't for you....sorry, that's how I feel now and did than.

OK, if thats like a blog so be it, but you new guys, I am not going to insult you by calling you newbies, just because you never had a chance to hear the show before. You missed the 86 Mets, 28 Yanks, early 80 Islanders, 49ers all the teams that had something different that you cant buy or predict...chemistry. Don't ask me to explain it, I cant. don't ask me to compare it, I can't, I was lucky enough to get railed on by ONA one day after april fools and RNF were interested in my work that they gave me a chance and it was my first radio gig, so no previous experience in radio...nothing really to draw on. OK the Jay Mohr, Air Sick spoof, thats about it.
It was there, we new after awhile almost what others were thinking or needed. during the show people were gathering news, getting info and going in to the studio when called. Oh by the way, that is not being a 3rd mic. Norton is a 3rd mic. getting called into the studio when you are doing something is just that. If your only job is to sit in the studio with the hosts everyday, than you are a 3rd mic....well that is my opinion. I just see thatwhat some of you consider a 3rd mic and give you what I believe is the correctdefinition. that 3rd mic is not given up easily to anyone on a regular basis, if at all., on the RNF show

am I bitter...you bet I am, but its my own fault. do I miss it, yeah I do, but not all the times because it was more work and harder and stressful than anything I had ever imagined or done before. there is more after that, but leave it there. I am slowly getting better and miss radio. Had offers to write, but not allowed to leave New York...has to do with leading cops on a chase, drunk, trying to escape and cracking into a pole...they kinda frown on that, as does my body and brain.

Anyway....please enjoy RNF as you will not find a funnier pair anywhere in the business and it's so not right why they seem to always get the short end of the stick is well, just my opinion,so wrong. I have no idea what they truly want and no one i have ever met has more business smarts and seeing the big picture out ahead of him,a very Gestalt view of their careers and what the right move will be, than Ron. I was amazed from time to time as i was a do it now kind of guy and he'd say no and not explain to me cause he didn't have to and after a while i saw for myself. I understand there have been many changes, the most being Fez' health, which has to be a great concern to him all the time and their lack of support and staff, I am sure has not made any of it easier. That is baffling to me. If you have what I consider a very important part of your business, i would make sure that thatinstrument was taken care of properly and given whatever it needed, to keep it happy and running smoothly.

OK enough kissing ass, talking shit, talking pain, truth and the American Way.

For me, more decisions to make. Everytime I go to a doc, they find something else and thats no lie. Now seeing a urologistregularly for a problem...again, a different one. I havehad enough. I just cant deal with anymore surgery, or living and getting stuck with the pain and living a life on pain killers. If you have your own equipment I believe it is $34.

Paintballs are $50.50 per case of 2000.
