An American Airlines plane has crashed in the Queens borough of New York City. The FAA identifies the flight as American flight 587, an Airbus A300 from JFK airport to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Thick smoke was billowing over the area, and local media reported several houses on fire. According to the Airbus Web site, the A300 has a seating capacity of 220-360 seats.

I agree, if this plane had an engine blow off it, that would likely take the idea of of a bomb out of the equation...however, one could speculate that the plane had been tampered with on the ground...

I honestly don't know why I believe this, but I think this accident has nothing to do with terrorism at all. Maybe it's just me wanting to be optimistic and not have terrorism on American soil anymore, but it just doesn't seem like a terrorist attack.

this is just going to be one of those things looked at years down the road like the "second shooter" in the JFK assasination, something that either has nothing to do with the other event or something that didnt even exist, but people will believe it is a conspiracy or that it's terrorism, but then again i could be wrong, i dont mean to sound egotistical but i hope im right cause i doubt it has anything to do with terrist, it seems to fall under the categorty of what Guliani called an "isolated incident" or as i put it "shit happens"
