Somehow, yesterday I forgot that the Masters started yesterday. Tiger got of to his usual slow start at 1 over. Defending champion Mickelson is at +4. Now I know how I'm spending Easter weekend at my mother-in-law's house.

I should also note that Tiger is halfway to another Tiger Slam.

Anyone been watching this?

This course is just so damn hard. Phil said today he knows that a score over par is going to win it tomorrow. Tiger really screwed himself on 17 and 18 today, I really wanted to see him in the final group tomorrow. He's 4 back and anything can still happen at Augusta, but he has a massive uphill battle going into Sunday.

A weekend at my mother-in-law's house would most likely end in some sort of "domestic" charge. I can't be around her for more than a day really. That being said I haven't been watching but will today. It's crazy; if I'm not mistakin the leader is like +2.

I wouldn't think so. The Masters is really an event all its own. I'd bet there will be threads for The Masters, US Open and the PGA but not much between them. Who really gives a fuck about the Houston Open?

The city of Augusta took the clubs side as well putting the protestors like a mile away in a parking lot. That's a big checkbook. That tourney's on my list of shit to do, that, a super bowl, world series game(s), Wimbledon. I think Wembledon would be the hardest to attain.

I think it's great that Tiger didn't get it done and that a virtual no name won the masters. Isn't that what every amateur dreams of? Plus next years masters will be all about how Tiger can't cut it anymore and then when he mops up it will be "Tiger is the Greatest" again.
