Please Look: Video Surveillance Footage of Suspect in RonFez.net Member Slaying

The show asked me to make this a separate thread so that everyone in the NY area will see it. As many of you are no doubt aware, on March 11th, Jimmy Plocica (aka JimiMetal on ronfez.net) was murdered in Brooklyn in an apparent robbery. Police have now released still photos and video surveillance footage of the suspect in the slaying. I urge you all to take a look at the video and pictures to see if you can identify the suspect.

A $22,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.

I live in California, so I can't add anything to this, but I have say that seeing that face makes me feel sick. Whether this is the perpetrator or not, the implication is there. I really hope this does not fade away before the piece of shit is caught.
I hope Jimmy's family is coping, and I wish them all the strength in the world.

i guess there have been no breaks in this case since it's been over a year and a half since it happened and 3 months since the last post.

back in 1979 I was the victim of an ambush/home invasion robbery in which my best friend was murdered, his girl friend was shot, and I had half my left leg blown off. it was the worst thing I had ever been through in my life, before or since. it took almost 7 years before the shooters were found, and then only because one of them liked to run his mouth about how brave and what a badass he was. the wrong person overheard him one night and he was caught and ratted out the others who were with him. point is, don't give up hope that something will come of this.

it's tough sometimes, especially the guilt of why i made it and he didn't. when the Nov. 5 anniversary rolls around every year i start riding the emotional rollercoaster everybody who goes through this kind of thing is on. in my case, the shooter got 44 years, the girl who drove the car got 8, and the "badass" who ratted out the others got time served which was about 3 weeks. the shooter was in jail for 2 counts of armed robbery here when he got caught for what he did to us. he was on parole after serving 8 years of a 40 year sentence in Florida for shooting a cop during another robbery and there were also armed robbery warrants for him in Arizona. he told the cops he would have executed everybody in my house after the attack had i not fought him off. i just happened to have had a gun i could get to after i was shot to fight him off with. the cops said that the "good part" of the incident was that only 1 body was taken out instead of 4.

i guess the best any of us can do is to survive as best we can and go on no matter how bad it can hurt. sorry to babble on and i don't mean to hijack this thread, but the date is drawing near again and the bad feelings are starting to awaken.

i understand the pain and horrible feelings that come from the senselessness of these kinds of acts. that's what struck me about this thread. my heart is with his loved ones because no matter what others can say, they can never truly understand.

you each have my heartfelt condolences for the loss of your friend. i don't think people who haven't had message board friendships understand just how deep they can run, and how intimately connected people can become.

i lost a very dear friend nearly 2 years ago whom i had also met on an MB. He was just 16 years old, and he took his own life. i'm not going into the details and i don't want any condolences; this thread is about your friend, not me or mine. i simply bring it up to express the depth of my empathy with each of you.

i have always felt that these posters were poorly printed. to the casual passerby they see "REWARD" in big print and a face and assume that the pictured person is who is wanted. the photo should be of the person of interest. the photo of the victim should be smaller then the photo of the wanted person.

i hope they get the savage who did this. horrible news.
