New Member limitations

Ok, I was playing with some stuff for new members today that may affect existing members.

To lower the negativity and spam, there's a new limitation for new members. New members must have 10 posts or be on the board for 30 days before they can start a new thread. I apologize to new members who have good intentions on the board. Just contribute to the board and 10 posts will fly by.

For existing members, I made the sig limitations bigger for text. You are still limited to 1 image, but you have more text. We'll see what else we can add for people who are here for a while, but for now you get these two advantages.

If there are any probs posting, please let me know.

Welcome. The show replays at midnight during the week. The weekend replays vary, but Mikeyboy posts the weekend schedule at the end of the week.

I think this is a great idea, as far as the newbies are concerned. But I wish that they had done something about the text lines before, because when I migrated to the new board, everything was messed up and I had to lose a lot of stuff that I used to have (props and whatnot).
I think it would be better though if they went to 20 instead of 10, just so the newbies can be felt out before they reveal their true nature as spammers, if thats what they are. Just my .02.

actually, i have been staying out of the babseball threads and i have avoiding the threads that i feel like i cannot really to. plus, 2.0 does slow you down with the new look and time limits. So i would have to go with RB's line of thought on it.
