The latest reference to R+F from MSNBC's Countdown w/Keith Olberman:

An orangutan's birthday party was first in tonight's Oddball segment. While coverning the event, the following appeared below the animal:

MONKEY HOUSE ROCKS

Here is a link to the video. An ad loads and plays first:

Anyone else find it funny that MSNBC is is basically promoting a racial joke about the name of Earl's apartment according to Ron with a spray paint can yet they think Don Imus is suddenly an evil man not worthy of their air.

MSNBC isn't doing it. The writers on one of their shows is. I'm sure the execs have absolutely no idea what's going on.

After you click the link, the video for the 30 second ad loads and plays. Immediately afterward, the video for the entire 1:29 Oddball segment loads and plays. Do not be distracted after you click the link-Monkey House Rocks appears first in the 1:29 segment and if you are distracted you will miss it.

I use to be the biggest olberman fan there is until this imus stuff. When he talked about Imus I had the same feeling I did when hearing O'reilly or Limbaugh talking.

It is hard for me to believe these writers that listen to Ron and Fez support olberman. I have yet to hear what O&A or R&F fan call in and talk anywhere near to the way KO is.

Olberman is an asshole, and he will be the next to leave MSNBC; he's a marked man for turning on his fellow broadcaster after all the hate speech he has thrown twoards Conservatives.

Hate speech is hate speech - doesn't matter what color your target is, and Keith has now gone on record opposing free speech he finds offensive. He has advertisers too you know.

@ 75% of those polled in the last 3 days have sided with Imus, and the Internet crowd is generally more Liberal than Con. Olberman can't make this go away.

Well duh - they're both flaming Liberals, and Ron has a genuine hatred for religion. He is completely intolerant of Cons views when they call in; he generally calls them Hayseed; which is just his way of saying nappy haired hos. Then he hangs up. That's what I expect from the enlightened of the Party of inclusion.

Too bad he is so intolerant of others views; he could make some real good conversation on these matters if he could listen long enough to actually argue his point. If his friends call in he is all ears; but don't let someone from outside his little world try to make a point.

No wonder he likes to hang with youngsters; they are intimidated by his bullshit, and he gets to feel superior.

Speaking of which - every since he discovered Paypal he has lost a lot of his magic; can't seem to concentrate on the rest of the show. I still really enjoy most shows; but yeah - it's been heading South for a while now. All the Salera, etc. talk is totally uninteresting to those not willing to 'watch' a radio show.

You 100% missed my point. Where in my post does it say you have to agree with someone on everything to work with them. I actually was stating that fact in the idea they most likely dont agree with olberman.
I can expect someone to agree with Ron on this being a free speech issue because no one has called in against that on 202 yet. Clearly people who enjoy the satire on O&A and R&F are in favor of satire, something that Imus was doing.
I have no idea what post you were reading but it was not mine.

Exactly right. Ron has never hung up on a Conservative just because of their views. I mean he's above making a little joke at their expense but he's always up for a discussion. The ones he hangs up on are the ones who are just giving him "bumper sticker" kind of stuff back at him. If you're goig to discuss your opinion he's always at least going to listen and let you get your point across. If you parrot Limbaugh's tirade you heard earlier, you're gonna get hung up on.

Well; I never call in; but just because he thinks it's the conservative kool-aid doesn't make for a balanced discussion. just sayin - he could stay on the line, and argue his point. That is if he has one besides the bigotry that leads to, "Hayseed" - click.

Whatever; I'm a bit disapointed lately, and if he wants feedback - here's mine. Otherwise he can choose to hang up on this call too. It's his show; just my opinion.

How did he disgrace himself?

By groveling to Jackson and admitting that he was a coward and talked about Imus behind the scenes. If he was such a big man and a honest journalist he'd have come out strongly against Imus on his show.

But instead he acted all overly polite to Jackson and reminded Jesse that he's got a black host for his show when Keith is off at truck stops.

Fuck off Oberman you shitdick.
