Should New Threads Be Limited To 5 Per Day?

There Has Been Some Chatter Recently About How Alot Of Threads Are Not Getting Enough Responses, Or Even Enough Views. This May Be Due To The Fact That There Are So Many Active Threads, That Your Eyes Glaze Over As You Go Down The List Of Active Topics, And You Say "I Don't Have Time For All These; I'll Just Look At These 4-5 Threads And Then Be Off".

So You Now Have 40 or 50 New Threads, Some Of Which Only Get 3 Responses And Maybe 90 Views.

So What If MikeyBoy Said "New Rule: 5 NEW Threads Per Day; That's It!"

You Would Be Forced To Discuss Each Of The 5 Topics In A Much More Thoughtful Way. Instead Of Trying To Write 30 One-Line Responses, You Would Write Just 5 Longer Responses.

They Would Not Have To Be Yerdaddy Long (As You Do Want People To Actually Read Them).

It's a ridiculous idea. What happens if you have the five topics already selected, and then something comes up that people want to talk about?

Also, it's not like people have to post here. If they can't post about what they want, they'll just go somewhere were they can post.
