Beer.
is that applied to the skin?
if that should be administered orally then i think that may have made it worse

Pure 100% aloe gel directly on the burned skin is a miracle worker!

As a frequently-burned person with very pale skin, I swear by Aloe Gel with Lidocaine, like Solarcaine.
If you're allergic to painkillers in the lidocaine family, however, use plain aloe gel.
For pain, take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen (brand names are Advil & Motrin) or naproxen (brand name Aleve) rather than acetaminofen (brand name Tylenol) to bring the swelling down.
If you're burnt on your lips, use medicated Blistex.
If you need to wash your face, Noxema will sting, but it's more soothing than an acne wash and is a little more gentle. If you don't like the camphor smell, use a cream wash (recommended: Good Skin Creamy Cleanser, $12 @ Kohl's; part of their "Good Skin" line manufactured by the Estee Lauder company.)
Through all of this, drink lots of water.

soak in a cool bath made with tea, this helps sooth the skin

If It Is Really Severe, And If You Are Not Allergic To Them, Take An Oral Antihistamine. It Really Helps To Reduce The Reaction.

No Way Loafer! F_S Only Uses His Own Name When It Is Appropriate. He Does Not Go Out Of His Way To Insert It Where It Is Not Needed!
But Fat Likes All Your Smiling Faces Anyway!

I've been reading a few of your threads this week and I'm afraid you may have had a sunstroke. The only cure is to drive really fast with your head out the window.
