This is so disturbing. My heart goes out to her family. I hope they catch the fucker that did this to her. I think she was in studio the day I got my nipple pierced. I can't remember if she was the one who actually pierced it or not.

I have no words to describe what a horrible feeling it is to see your best friend and the love of your life pass away. Monica Henk was pronounced dead today at 12:50 PM.
Her funeral will be held at Kearns Funeral Home in Queens on Sunday, April the 22 between the hours of 5 and 9 PM.
The address is 61-40 Woodhaven Boulevard, Rego Park, NY 11374. The phone number is 718 441 3300. Formal dress required, no t-shirts and jeans, and absolutely no press allowed in the building.
The police has some updates, they have now confirmed it is a 95-97 black Chevy S-10 Blazer with front end damage. 5 Detectives are assigned to this case. The reward has risen to $18,000.

I have perused her and her husband's websites, and her myspace account. It is clear that besides being incredibly beautiful physically, she was a beautiful mind and a beautiful spirit. Her loss is truly a great loss for all of humanity. I mourn at her passing, and I wish I had known her.

I am so pissed that a young girl's life was taken like this.

It makes me sick to hear this. As a fellow motorcyclist, I'm outraged by how little regard is given bikers. Most importantly though, I grieve for Dan Hank and Monica's family. I'm very happy they had what time they did, but I'm sorry she was taken so soon and so cruelly.

I hope you find the driver and bring him/her to justice.
