Baby Daddy!

Scary Spice had a baby and she put Eddie Murphy on the birth certificate as the father. Eddie has claimed while she was prego that he wasnt the father. My question is, Can a mother put any name on a birth certificate for the father even if he denies it and hasnt been tested to prove it?

When there is a question of who the father is I think no one should be on the childs birth cert until the father is 100% tested to be the father. And no women should be able to just put any man on it.

where did she have the baby? I think in america the man has to be there to sign papers aknowledging he's the father. i dont think you could just add a name. Not sure!!!

I'd think that you could put any name on it you want, but it wouldn't automatically mean the named father was responsible. I think it would also mean that, if it could be proven that you intentionally put a false name on it, you could be prosecuted for falsifying a document.
