my bosslady at work just got a new computer to use today...and its loaded with Windows Vista. Shes usually a young acting woman at the age of 53 but when she turned it on and it started loading.......
"i dont like this..."
"what is this thing here"
"why dont it act like the other windows thing"
"ahh, the screen is too bright"
ive come to notice...even with video games, technology can make even the youngest ACTING person look old.
i hope i learn the latest things every year throughout my life so i wont look like that when i get older.
anyone else ever notice this?

although i like communicating with my parents via email, they are hopless. seriously, i'll expalin how to do something and two days later, they forget. or they're just scared to experiment and truly learn what the computer can do.

My dad takes at least 5 seconds to double click. He clicks and holds.... clicks and holds.....
When I bought a new computer last year I gave my parents my old one because they never had one. What a mistake.
What followed was an almost nightly call from my mother asking me the most infuriatingly asinine questions I'd ever heard.
After I exploded she stopped asking me computer questions.
Luckily, my dad has feared it since day one.

That sounds like eveytime my dad gets a new remote control for the t.v. I can't imagine giving him a computer. It would cause my death.

I bought my first computer ever when I was 44.
Then I joined this site and bugged a bunch of people with really stupid questions.
Everyone was very helpful and patient.
Thanks to all of you who taught this old dog some new tricks.
