PwInsider.com is reporting that Memphis Wrestling will return to the Mid-South Coliseum after a 2 year absence for “Clash of Legends” with Jerry Lawler vs Hulk Hogan. The show will be April 27, 2007.

Tickets went on sale today.
I belive this is the 1st time they have gone 1on1. Vh1 will be there taping for hogan knows best.

The Hulk Hogan vs. Jerry Lawler match scheduled to take place in Memphis on Apr. 27 at Fed Ex Forum will not take place.

At a press conference held in Memphis, Tenn. this morning, Lawler announced that due to contractual obligations, he cannot wrestle on the show. He said because he is under WWE contract, and the match will be taped for Hogan's show on VH1, he could not appear in the match. Lawler is able to wrestle outside of WWE, but not on national television.

The show will go on, though. The replacement for Lawler will be The Big Show, whose contract with WWE expired at the end of February.

Others on the card will include Bill Dundee, Brutus Beefcake, The Rock & Roll Express, Brian Christopher, Koko B. Ware, Abdullah the Butcher, The Barbarian, Jim Cornette, and Greg Valentine.
