Ever since upgrading to IE7, I have this annoying problem on these message boards. I always see the cache from last visit, and have to click "refresh" every I view a board to see any changes. This is pretty annoying. Come to think of it, it happens on yahoo, too. Any ideas? I'm sure there's just some obscure box I have to click to make the browser stop loading the cache every time I return to a page I've seen before, but I can't find it.
thanks!

steve

i use firefox, myself, but in explorer you can go to internet options and toggle osme options. isn't there one to look for a new version of the page each time you visit?

ha, yes! that's what I'm looking for. In the old version of IE I could find it with ease. They seem to want to make each iteration of IE more incomprehensible than the last.
Crap, I'm gonna have to just go dl firefox.

Ok I found it:
for future reference, if you upgrade to IE7 this may get set without your knowledge and you have to fix it.
click TOOLS
click internet options
click [browsing history] SETTINGS
it'll be set to "NEVER CHECK A WEBPAGE FOR NEW VERSIONS"
click "EVERY TIME I VISIT"
that's it!
thanks for the help, all. I'll have to find another reason to move to firefox. Just as an aside, my first "browser" was a text browser on a 300 baud modem. I thought it rocked at the time. That's how old I am.
