I saw this last night.

It was pretty good. It didn't have nearly enough scares as the first one, but it went in a direction early in the film that I didn't think it would.

It was an "OK" movie. Didn't really compare to the original. It was more like a Dawn of the Dead sequel than a 28 Days Later sequel.

I REALLY hate the fact that the ending was purposely left open for yet another sequel. The original attempted to have some kind of closure at the end. That's what a classy movie should do. This is more of a "screw you" to the audience. You know these kids you invested all this time and emotion into? Well their chopper goes down and the infection spreads. So everything you just watched was just a set-up for the next movie.

I guess we can expect a new, never-ending, half-assed rip-off movie franchise. Can anyone say "28 Months Later"? How about "28 Years Later" ad infinitum?

Yeah, I really liked the movie, but I have to say the first one was brilliant. This one didn't quite measure up to the first.

I give it two thumbs and a half a mandible up.

The young girl in the movie who plays the sister is very pretty, especially when she's covered in blood. Unfortunately my desire wilted after I realized her name is Imogen Poots.

That's right.

Poots.

Saw this movie and hated it, what a crock pile of shit.

0)"oh hey, the kids are leaving the high security zone and i am
watching them leave. eh, lets just give them time so they can run
around screaming, get a moped, drive around the city, and get into the
suburbs."

1) maintenance man would not have access to the top security military
areas, i dont give a shit that he has an "all access pass"

2) there would have been a guard outside the door of a potential rage
carrier who was strapped down to prevent her from infecting people

3) a back door to the room people were loaded in to keep them away
from the rage dude running around biting people? fuck you. 3a) a
back door that no one noticed and was not guarded or locked up like
the front door? fuck you again. 3b) at this point we watched the
rest of the movie in 32x speed and missed nothing.

the futility of pointing out the plot incongruities of a horror film have obviously eluded you.
