Walmart in the US sells guns? Walmart in Halifax does not sell guns, but it does sell ammo. In fact, for me to get birdshot to hunt ducks, I need "PAL", or Possession/Acquisition License. To get a Possession/Acquisition License I had to take a 3 full-day course and have the RCMP run a background check. Sure it's a pain, but fuck it. If I'm not going to do anything illegal, what do I care? All my guns are registered, and if they want to come an take them, well, who cares? Agreed. This same shit happened to a friend of mine (in short.. his wife ran up $60K in debt without his knowledge). They had two kids together, he didn't get a lawyer and got pretty screwed. Turns out she was cheating on him, and had a "boyfriend" while they were still separated (i.e. adultery) and he didn't do shit about it. Call a lawyer immediately.

Sheesh, always let her leave if she gives an ultimatum like that! Don't leave, in some states they have an "abandonment" law where if you leave for a certain period of time you'll be seriously screwed during the divorce process. The friend of mine this happened to.. yeesh he left when his wife told him to, days later she changed the lock and invited her family to come to the house and basically take whatever they wanted.
