Well, the Nor' Easter of 4/07 came.
Everything was going great. Nary a drop in the house. Then. 1:00 am Sunday. The power went out. When the power goes out, the sump pump stops working (If anyone knows about a battery back up pump. PM me!)
We bailed the sump hole from 2 till 3. Bit since it is tide dependant, it went nowhere. We went to sleep. the tide rose. As did the level in the sump. I woke up at 6 am. Too late.

I lot of it is irreplacable.
I'm going to try to dry and salvage the albums.
