I don't know if many of you know who this turd is, but he is a menace to society. He is an attorney from Florida who is on a crusade against violent video games. He has been popping up on the talking head shows lately spewing feces about how CounterStrike CS and GTA are responsible for all of these school shootings. I saw him today on MSNBC (was gonna post video, but audio is all fuct) saying that this Cho kid was addicted to CounterStrike and thats why he was able to kill so many people. He even tried saying that just by reviewing the video of a shooting in Germany, he could ascertain that the shooters heart rate "stayed below 60" because they played violent video games.

No matter what political party you are a part of, this crosses both side, we have dipshit senators and congressmen who are going to start buying into this horseshit and try to legislate away more of our freedoms. I would advise people to look into Thompson and write you local reps to let them know he is a kook to the nth degree. You may say well its just video games, but what next? music? poetry? plays? suddenly masturbating 8x a day isn't healthy..?

Jack Thompson is no doubt a piece of shit. I can only say that he has probably never shot a gun. If shooting was as easy as pointing a mouse on a videogame, every 12 year old would be on an Olympic shooting team. I remember he flipped a shit when some kid shot a cop and owned a copy of GTA. I gave up writing to Congressmen and Senators. Since most of the people that actually are involved in politics are old people, a politician's best choice is to vote for any legislation against videogames. The only thing we can really do is get young people to vote young people in office.
