NEW YORK (AP) -- Kitty Carlisle Hart, whose long career spanned Broadway, opera, television and film, including the classic Marx Brothers movie "A Night at the Opera," has died at age 96, her son said Wednesday.

To think she lasted this long is amazing. I thought for sure she was a goner when Tiger (the family dog) stole her from Cindy and hid her in the doghouse.

Not a huge star, I just remembered Ron mentioning her one day as his celeb sighting of the day, my Mom saw her walking near the UN last year, said she was dressed up like she walked right off the TV set, all amde up, walking by herself, just another senior in the city.

Hey, she was in a Marx Bros. movie, thats pretty freakin cool.

I used to watch to tell the truth with my grandmother. Guy on left in Bill Cullen, laughing guy is Joe Garigiola. For the life of me I cant remember the redheaded dame. I recall she was the funniest of the panelists.
