After the long cold winter and last weeks Nor'easter we finally have great weather in the NYC Metro area. I was out most of the day. It was just too nice to be inside.

I loved driving around this afternoon. All the hot ladies were out! That is, without a doubt, the best thing about warm weather!

I can't tell you how happy I am to see the sun again. I thought it had died. That gray, rainy, dreary weather is the most depressing thing on the planet. I'll never understand how people live in places where that's the norm.
Maybe I have S.A.D. or something, but I walk around like a zombie on cloudy and rainy days. I literally have no energy, no matter how much caffeine I pump into myself.

been doing some outside work, hedging, mowing, and weedwackin. feels good to be in the sun but the gas hedger stopped working for some reason and the gas weedwacker is giving me trouble and only runs on 1/2 choke. pulling the chords so much gave me a nasty blister and when I poured a bunch of after-shave in my hands it burned like a mother...

did you mix new gas this year? Also, did you empty the gas out from last year before the winter started?

nah, i'm pretty bad with that type of maintenance. thing is for 20 years this is how I go about it, leave whatever gas from last year in there and just add new gas this year and never had an issue before with any garden tools. the hedger was working for well over an hour and then 'nuthin', I couldn't start it no matter what i did... maybe I've been lucky up till now?
