Fallon owning GVac

I don't know what baseball or basketball teams they root for, but this year, through football and hockey, Fallon has just owned GVac. The Bengals lost to the Patriots, which is to be expected I guess, but then the Red Wings, despite being having the second best record in the NHL, go off and get destroyed by the Bruins. Why is it that Fallon owns GVac and how can he break this curse? It's almost to the point where it's like Fez's predictions. They just never happen.

You'll never hear me disagreeing that the Bruins suck. But they were still 1-0 against GVac and his Red Wings this year, and I'm not sure that would have been the case had GVac not been rooting for them and Fallon rooting for the Bruins. It's like whatever team GVac roots for gets unluckier when they're playing Fallon's team.
