every once in a while as a member the board will kick me off and i have to log back in if i want to post

to encourage the guests to sign up and be active we should set it so when you view a thread, and your a guest, you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can view it again, even if new posts have been added.

No i don't know if this is possible or not
just an idear

Good suggestion. However my approach is a little more aggressive. Anytime a guest views a post, he/she has 10 minutes to register as a member or else a virus is unleashed onto their system.

Either that or we send Gvac over to slash their tires.

i think most are members they just havent loged on

and for the gvac thing we could make a new form of mod
enforcer
we dont trust him to edit posts/use other mod features; just physically intimidate the folks into staying in line
i think tubbs would be good at this also

I nominate patsopinion to spearhead the "Thug Mod" initiative.

i thought this thread was going to be about Earl's lack of booking prowess.

I disagree with this, I don't think sending them a sslut will help curb the problem.

I thought the same thing. I was going to come in here and defend him. After all... he managed to book Chuck Palahniuk for the second time this week.

Question

Why does it bother people that others just come here to look and not sign up? Whats the big deal if they read posts and saty guests?
