is that so hard to say? i hate when you say "thank you" and people don't know to say "you're welcome" or even "my pleasure" (my personal fave). most of the time you thank someone (waitresses for example) you get "yeah" "uh-huh" "sure" or "no problem". what the fuck is wrong with people?

i say "for what? i didnt do nothing." or "dont mention it" if i really want to throw someone off i use "Go with God." the last one is for my own entertainment.

as a person who has been in the service industry what goes through my mind when i say the non your welcomes is that the service that was rendered wasnt worth my time
straight up they hate you or they dont value your buissness

i can't believe i missed "don't mention it"!

not entirely related, instead of saying "no thank you" to decline an offer i throw out "thank you, no" which really freaks people out for some reason.

for some reason when i get a 'thank you', i give a 'thank you' back. i have a hard time saying your welcome to people for something that should be done.

Yeah, people have no fucking manners anymore. What really gets my goat is when you hold the door for someone, they don't say shit, and people just keep coming in, pouring in, all just expecting you to hold the door. Nobody says shit, and nobody gets the door from you. I have literally been on the verge of violence with this one.

This Guy was great because He would say Your Welcome, without you saying Thank You

I say no problem a lot too! I don't think theres anything wrong with it because your acknowledging them back in a polite manner. It means almost the same thing as your welcome.

i don't know. it's not as bad as some, but i still think it's less than desirable. it's a lot closer to "no big whoop" than to "you're welcome".

a lot of people say "ain't." doesn't mean it's correct.

I usually say "You wont come" in the hope I permanently screw up their sex life.

For anyone who frequents Chik-Fil-A they make their employees say "My Pleasure" instead of "You're Welcome".

It's a nice change of pace...

I was hoping this was a Nick Burns appreciation thread. "He'll fix your computers, but then he's gonna make fun of you"....There is NOTHING wrong with saying "no problem" in response to a thank you. If your saying a sincere thank you then you shouldnt expect anything in return anyway.
