wouldn't it be nice if on Sunday there was a place the rest of us could go
to like talk about world events/recent scientific discoveries(i just learned that part of a meteorite hit earth in early 06) and not have the omni oppressive religion factor in?
i was baptized cathloic but i think it was an insurance measure more then anything else
But wouldn't it be cool if there was a meeting place for those of us that don't subscribe to hang out and talk/share ideologies with other nonsubscribers?
Now I'm not anti religion
I think a lot of you hayseeds need that shit to tell you how to be a decent person.
But can the rest of us get out from benighted your thumbs and actually have an intelligent conversation for once without having to factor in your bullshit 24/7?

You could become a Unitarian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unitarian_Universalism).

What's stopping any of us from doing exactly as you say?
If people really wanted to get toegther and talk world events/science, they would, they have that right, that freedom from religion.
Plenty of meeting places available too.
I blame religion on a lot of things, but not for non-religious people's laziness/ennui/apathy.

And you don't have to wait until Sunday either, you can do it any day of the week.

i blame no one for my laziness except for my parents, one day i will get the energy to tell them. maybe after my nap.
