The New File Library Content Thread

I decided to create a new thread for file library content because:

1. The old one was getting huge
2. various changes in board software have made the old one difficult to read in places.
3. At some point, the links in that thread (to the old file library) will be dead.

In this thread, I will post new files available in the file library. You can also use this thread to request certain files.

New file library stuff to be added over the next few days.

I have now added hyperlinks to files in the file library for all XM and FreeFM audio in the show log (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58382&page=3), which should make it easier to find stuff in the file library and to determine whether or not certain things are in the library. I'll add links to the WNEW and WJFK stuff in the coming weeks.

Also, I wanted to point out that with the new file library, you have the ability to rate the files and add comments.

I've had a couple of requests for that, and even though:

- It was on XM

- their black producer was playing along with the bit

- it was broadcast pre-Imus

I don't want to make a bit readily available that could be used out of context against the show (especially with this latest crap on the Drudge Report about O&A).

First of all Mikey Boy, thank you so much for all of the work you and the rest of the dot netters have done in compiling the file library, as a relatively new listener (XM ERA) of the Ron and Fez show this site has been a great way for me to listen to older bits...I feel like I have missed so much. The file that I have been looking for was the bit regarding Steve Carlton....I think it was during the Jesus as an athlete bit. Any Help is greatly appreciated and once again, thanks for this library.....it is outstanding.

Mikey- Why is it that some of the downloads are regular zip files that I'm able to open easily and some are in a different format that I just can't get open? Do I need to open the latter files with something other than winzip? Any help would be appreciated.

All are regular zip files, although I've heard that some people have some issues with some. Most people can open all without issue. Try saving those files to your hard drive and opening manually with an unzipping utility.
