Anybody watch this show ?

I had gotten into it when they were showing the people from South Carolina and had just assumed they had expanded to other areas and where alternating shows.

Then I see that the people from the original season are no longer on A&E but now have a show on TLC.

In researching it I found that there was a lawsuit filed by the original " cast " as, according to them, they were never asked to do a 2nd season.

I find the group, specifically the husband, of the San Antonio show to be mostly annoying.

I've never watched an episode with the black guy but I think he does Atlanta ( interseting also on the site I'm posting below it mentions that he's actually had his real estate license revoked at some point ).

New season I think they are doing a team from New Haven CT but I havent seen any of that yet.

This site pretty much tracks the lawsuit and the news by month. Moderatley interesting for anybody who watched the show.

"Flip This House" sucked out loud as soon as they switched to the Latin-American REALTORS. The guys are jerks and the women are annoying. It made me quit watching the show.

I was wondering where the NC team went until I stumbled onto "The Real Deal" a couple of weeks ago. They have their annoying moments, but I am always amazed by the amount of work they have done on an amazingly tight schedule.

The time of the first season must've been spread out.

I watched an episode the other day and it must've been one of the first one's they did and he quoted something about the house was purchased in 1997 and nothing had been done for 7 years ( which would've put them in 2004 at the time of the filming ) but I didnt think it was on that long ago.

Agree. The show is annoying as hell at times but the idea of house flipping seems appealing. Also looks like a place to lose a lot of money.
I'm currently addicted to "How It's Made". I can watch that show for hours.

I love the CONCEPT of "How It's Made," but the narrator's voice just bugs the hell out of me. He is just a passionless douche - no excitement or interest whatsoever.

If they could get someone like Mike Rowe to do the voiceover, then I would be completely hooked.

It's my understanding that it's not such a good idea to try and flip houses at this point.

Maybe for seasoned veterans like the Landmark guys but not for the average joe.

My fiance's grandparents live in Willmington NC and they've heard of a lot of people losing there shirts trying to flip houses because if they don't sell them in time they wind up carrying 2 mortgages.

Yea. And that Sprokets music has to go too.
Is that Mike Rowe on Dangerous Catch?

In this market you stand to take a huge bath. There's a house down the street from me that someone renovated almost a year and a half ago. It's still for sale. Two mortgages would give me an ulcer in no time.

It's hard to believe that A&E didn't know this guy was pulling a scam.

I can't watch it either. I sell building materials to homebuilders for a living and some of my clients are like that prick. I tollerate them during the day because I'm paid well to but I'm damn sure not watching those arrogant assholes on my own time. Their title alos annoy me. CEO, COO and one the chicks is like "Vice President of Marketing" or some shit. That means she makes signs for their fucking sales. I wish homeless Charlie would rape them all.
