wtf man rf.net pop ups?

I love the site and fullest respect to mikey and justjon and understand everyone trying to make a little side action

But this drive cleaner ad is fucking obscene!

I shouldn't have to fight pop ups to access show threads!

i dont even mind the ipod voice one just

but this one is just not cool

This was covered in another thread. Jon was the first one to discover this problem. Adbrite has already been contacted, and the ad should be removed from the rotation very soon, and we hope to never have such ads on our site again. If this doesn't happen, we'll have to look elsewhere for our banner ads.

I just got one of those "Drive Cleaner" pop ups and it was almost impossible to get rid of it. I kept clicking "cancel" and not the "install" button but it just kept popping up and then started downloading by itself.

I guess I can't come to this site anymore unless I'm using a browser that has an advertising block.
