Good riddance I says.
Jack Valenti created the rating system, and this guy was one of the big reasons any movie unrated by the MPAA does not make it to theaters. Not to mention the incredible amount of corruption and favoritism for the studios and against independent filmmakers within the MPAA. If anyone remembers that interview Ron & Fez had a while back, with the two gals that made This Film Is Not Yet Rated, highly recommend renting it if you have not. Devastatingly effective at picking apart the bias that exists within the ratings system.
But anyways, this is a death to be happy about, an opportunity I don't get too often, so I am going to celebrate by going to open a bottle of wine now. I searched to see if this thread already out there and couldn't find anything, lock if it is
