Was having a conversation the other day about the luckiest people in show business and of course number one on the list would have to be:
Ryan Seacrest.
#2
Paris Hilton
#3
Michael Anthony(Bass Player from Van Halen)
Give your top three as well as your top UNluckiest people in show business.
#1 for me would be Andy Richter.

Fuck that about Michael Anthony. Dude is Van Halen's secret weapon, especially with the backing vocals.

I somehow believe Courtney Love should be in any top 3. If she had never sunk her teeth into Cobain she would have been a blip in the entertainment world. I cringe everytime I see her desperate attempt to keep herself in the "spotlight".

If I could, I'd go back and edit my post so it made sense. But of course we can't do that here in 2.0 land. Oh well, I guess it's everyone's loss, because I can tell you that it was, by far, the funniest post ever on ronfez.net.

I have to disagree about Ryan Seacrest. I don't like him at all, and yes, he's been lucky. But as Ron pointed out on a show last year, the guy does know how to do his job, at least on Idol, very well. Compare him with Paris Hilton who has absolutely no entertainment skills whatsoever.
For his replacement, I'd suggest Billy Bush who I hate with a tremendous passion.

I have to disagree with seacrest as well. he not only does Idol, but has the radio show and something else. obviously he has a little talent in the entertainment field or else he would just be doing Idol.

You have to ask yourself this:
Would you miss Ryan Seacrest if he left the show?

i wouldn't miss the show if it left fox, so i really have no idea what his role is on the show. I doubt he is intergral on the show, so you are prolly right on that note.
but if his radio show gets ratings, and he is the main host, then you have to agree that he is the factor behind those ratings.

I wouldn't care if he left. But a fan of the show would if they replaced him with someone who couldn't do the job.
Ultimately that's not the point. For luckiest person (on a level with Paris Hilton), it has to be someone who doesn't deserve in any way what they have. I can't stand the guy, but he does do his job(s) well.

Well that's the real question, isn't it? Why? The how and the who is just scenery for the public. Jackson, Abdul, Cowell, the Mafia. Keeps 'em guessing like some kind of parlor game, prevents 'em from asking the most important question, why? Why was Sanjaya killed? Who benefited? Who has the power to cover it up? Who?

the guest list for dinner with the queen (http://www.breitbart.com/article.php?id=D8OVQC8O0&show_article=1) has politicians, rich ceo's that gave alot of money to bush, and....
"Elisabeth Hasselbeck, host of "The View," and Timothy Hasselbeck, professional football player."

I'm on the Mojo bandwagon with this one. That guy was solid on the bass and like the man said, his backing vocals were fucking stellar.
