New Rap vs. Old Rap

I was driving a customer vehicles while ago, and it was on a local rap station here.....and just listening to the crap thats being put out now is unbearable.....what happened to the days of rap just being good listening music?

how many people in here actually listen to rap at all or choose between old school or new shit?

I think about this all the time. I always wonder if it is because I got older, or if it is really worse. but I think people who were fans of rap in the 80's probably hate the rap that I like which is mid to late 90's with tupac and Biggie

i wasnt even a fan of Tupac or Biggie, i was more of the West Coast rap like NWA and Dre and Snoop before he sold out completely......

but Chingy and T.I., just horrible.....
