There's Already a Sin City 2 Teaser?! (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=20166)
Smokin' Aces director Joe Carnahan revealed on his official Blog that Robert Rodriguez gave him a sneak peek at Sin City 2:
Robert Rodriguez stopped by the office yesterday and showed me what may become the teaser for 'SIN CITY 2' and HOLY SH*T is it something. I don't want to let any cats out of any bags, so all I can say is there's not a hetero male moviegoer alive that's not going to deeply DIG that spot. Remember, he's doing 'A Dame To Kill For' and brother has he got it. That guy's enthusiasm for filmmaking is infectious too. A solid bloke and a good soul.
Note: There is NO link to the trailer in the article, but it will probably be out soon.

Is Angelina Jolie going to the the "Dame" in this movie (can't remember her name now, but she's the femme fatale that plays Clive Owen's character for a sap.)

According to IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458481/), Jolie is not attached, and a lot of the people from the first film are back. But one of the rumored actresses is Rachel Weisz. I haven't read the graphic novels, but she is rumored to play Ava Lord.

I haven't read Sin City, but the rumor was that Angelina Jolie was going to be in it, and she was one of the actors they were scheduling the filming around.

I heard the same thing, which is why I asked the question.

A few days ago, Michael Madsen was quoted saying that the poor performance of Grindhouse might affect whether Sin City 2 will be made. Not true, according to words from Frank Miller in a new interview at Rotten Tomatoes:
Of course, by stroke of coincidence we learned just before we sat down with Miller that Robert Rodriguez had been signed onto a remake of the classic sixties sex flick "Barbarella." So what of "Sin City 2"? Rumours swirl that the project has been stalled by the breakdown of Rodriguez' marriage. "Sin City 2 is still likely to happen," says Miller, "just not right away. The script is written and Robert and I are raring to go, but it looks like I'm going to be doing The Spirit first and Robert's going to be doing Barbarella first."

Frank Miller is Hollywood's golden boy right now. Sin City and 300 were both huge blockbusters. Ronin has been optioned. Of course they'll do Sin City too. They're going to run as much of his body of work as they can.

God, I hope someone doesn't get it into his mind that All Star Batman & Robin would make a great movie.
Wonder if anyone would make Give Me Liberty.

Maybe they'll put out a DVD of the "Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot" series.

I believe Hard Boiled is also in the works, which would kick some serious ass. But I'm with on making that first Martha Washington book...really a good story and one of Miller's most overlooked comics.
Plus I think you can kind of count some of his Batman stuff since the filmmakers of Batman Begins talked about and clearly used elements of Miller's Year One and they've also said that Miller's version of the Joker in Dark Knight Returns is a big inspiration for how he'll be portrayed in the new Batman movie.
Now if only someone would have used Miller's Man Without Fear series, Daredevil would have had a good movie. Still, they could always do Born Again...
