Actually, I'm surprised that Matty didnt start his own congratulatory thread about this, but ok...
it's been over 4 years and TODAY'S THE DAY!!!!

I've never really talked to Matty, and although I know Liz only slightly, I guess I'd be sitting on the bride's side of the aisle. I just think it's very cool that 2 people who met because of an interest we ALL share here, will be celebrating their nuptials in just a few short hours. Casey and Dave may be the newest kids on that block, but you two have lasted beyond all doubts for years, and will do so for many years to come!

I just wanted to wish you both all the best, congratulations and more luck than you'll ever need.

As someone who went through a wedding the best advice I can give is just sit back and enjoy the day. This day is a whirlwind you are going to talk to a ton people and do a million things then you'll turn around and it'll be over. I'ts an exhausting wild ride of a day

Never was a big fan of the Richmond race. Dunno why. I caught enough shit from my mom for asking the restaurant at the rehearsal dinner to put up the Sabres/Rangers game last night. When I was making my toast last night, I said, "I've got everything a man could possible want. The love of his life, my best friends, my family, a cold Budweiser and playoff hockey in HDTV."

And Liz isn't a race fan. She understands it, but she's finds it to be confusing. I've finally got her well-tuned enough to football after five years... NASCAR is a completely different animal. I'M still learning about it.

I'm trying to see if I can take her to the fall race at PIR though.

Thanks!! Heroes and 24 though. We're not leaving until Thursday, so it's all good. I'm actually burning all the Heroes episodes that Liz missed (she watches 24 and goes to bed, I stay up and watch heroes on the TIVO) for her to watch on the flight. I think she'll find the Linderman-nathan "zucchini" conversation hilarious.

It was funny. Once we cleared the rehearsal yesterday, all the stress I had was gone. I really just stopped, relaxed, and several beers later, I was having a good time.

We just got back from the wedding, stayed overnight at the Marriott. This was really a great party, we had such a blast. The keyboardist was the highlight of the night for everyone. Oh and the fact that all the girls got Sheepy on the dance floor and we all dry-humped him. His mom was happy and thanked us for getting out there to dance. HA

Last night, I was sitting at the table and watching the ruckus in front of me, and I just smiled. It was one of those perfect moments that you strive for in life, and it was just that; our family, our friends, and our love.

I bled, sweated, and cryed to get to that moment; I got it and it was worth every single second I put into it.

The ceremony was beautiful... and very personal - it really showed Matty and Liz as a couple. The best Exit music EVER!
And yes... the keyboardist was the highlight of the reception... he was so passionate! Why do I always seem to know the band... lolol It was great seeing us all dolled up in our sunday best... who knew we would all clean up so nice?!

When your mom is the eldest of 7, and all but one of her siblings are married or dating someone, and all but three have children, and she's remarried to a guy with kids of his own from his first marriage and a brother who has a wife and three adult kids with spouses. . .well. . .you start to get a number resembling the Duchy of Grand Fenwick.

Anyway, let us know when you're showing up to an event so we can buy you drinks.

Okay, so I am finally catching up. It was rough waking up at 8 on Sunday only to drive all the way back up to Carmel to take the dog to the groomer. Wish we could have stayed for breakfast. Andrew and I both had a blast and agree it was one of the most fun receptions we've ever attended.

Tracy's mini-concert rocked. The after party was fun for sure, though I now fear the wrath of SoCo and Lime. Matt, Liz, you threw one hell of a party. The two of you looked great and everything seemed like it was running smoothly so if there were any issues I certainly didn't notice.

I hope you guys have a long, loving life together and you gave it one hell of a kick off bash.
