Exhausted!!

Lately it has been nuts at work. We hired a new supervisor and new employees, we had a whole classroom set up and a trainer came in to teach them all. Then about 1/4 of the way through we lost like 90% of the class and ended up with just one new hire and the new supervisor. So training was canceled and the trainer was sent home. Now me and the other supervisor are left with training them. I've been training the new supervisor and she has been working on the new hire. As much as I've been trying to climb ahead of my work, I now have this over my shoulders which has caused me to put in a LOT more hours at work to not fall behind.

It sucks because it eats away at my personal life, I haven't been on the board all that much lately or in chat, I haven't even heard the shows because of short porches or I only hear the XM show briefly. I just settle in at home and a wave of exhaustion hits me. I'm hoping to ease back on things this week though. I'm wiped out!!

It sounds like this hopefully will be a temporary state of exhaustion for you Reefy. When the current training's out of the way, hopefully they won't be expecting any more training of people from you. That really sucks though...you better get a bonus or something for this.

They just never came back to work, well one of them came back and resigned, the others all just abandoned their jobs.

Reefy, my brother, stress is a killer. Nothing can wipe you out harder or faster.

It's easier said than done, but try to keep it all in perspective. It's just a job...not your life.

I just unloaded an entire 16ft U-Haul by MYSELF. Couch, Table, recliner, Gold Bouillon, anything and everything that Ledouski and I own. Did I mentioned that I drove for 13 hours before I did this then unloaded it by myself. Ledouski is finishing up work in Florida.

I completely understand. I hope you get the month with pay. I've worked almost everyday except Christmas and Thanksgiving. Imagine working your ass off so Santa can bring some of the things the kids ask for, and not being able to watch them play. Today I start @6pm but I spent most of the day working on my oven. Fixed it.
