Was the stent to blame?

In the New York Daily News today there was a story about a guy they found dead on a subway platform. He had a gaping chest wound and the police initially thought he had been stabbed, but they later realized that his stent had been ripped out of his chest.....self-inflicted. My first reaction was, I hope fez' meds are working ok.

stents are put into the neck artery occasionally. i could see ripping it out from there. but there is no way a person is going to get through their own breastplate, reach into where the heart meets the artery, and pull out a stent. even if youre crazy i cant see it happening.
