Fashionably late, as is my wont.

I've been having the worst spring of luck this week, starting Sunday morning and lasting to today. Traffic cops have it in for me, shoving tickets up my car's tailpipe on 3 separate occasions so far with surprise crackdown checkpoints set up in places you wouldn't imagine having checkpoints. Lots of drama, some lady hit my car too. And today, a tree fell down next to my house, taking out the power until about 12 minutes ago. I'm scared my car's going to get hit by a charge of depleted uranium from a railgun or run over by a stray plane. I'm superstitious enough to seriously believe it might happen at this point! The O&A bullshit ain't keeping me too peachy either.

Exempting any of those events and any other potential disasters, I will be making the ride over there. I may be a little high strung, but give me a couple beers and I'll feel better.
