Earl and Fez talk to women the same way

I was thinking yesterday, that Earl and Fez are very similar in the way they talk to women. When Earl was telling Lucci that he was going to leave her bow legged, it sounded just like the way Fez would talk to Dawn if he was giving a description of how he would treat her in the sack. Also, when Earl felt like Lucci had insulted him, he immediately resulted to name calling and petty insults, and when a girl called the show to criticize him, he just started calling her fat. Fez does the same thing when he thinks a woman has insulted him. Am I completely off here, what do you guys think?
