They are just tring to host a normal tourney, NOT something that's going to turn into a rally with protesters and so on that are disrupting thier other guests.

Ya know, when I heard they called it off, my 1st thought was "I wonder what people who made plans to come from a distance will do so suddenly." People were probably taking their summer vacations out to the tourney, spending a lot of money on reservations, rental cars, plane tickets and the like.

Really hope you can get all your cash back.

This really sucks. I pre-registered and all. Only good news is that I can get a refund on the entry and there is no time limit on when I can get it. But it sucks that I was looking forward to seeing everyone and having a great weekend.

I just think Showboat pulled the plug as not to be collateral damage in this fight.

If anyone is still going let me know, I'm still debating if I'm going to still go down or not anyway.

No last week I thought I won tickets on Ron and Fez. Promotions called me and said I won Met tickets. When I called Lily about it she said Earl messed up and wasn't supose to give out tickets for that when he did. It gave me little time to get tickets before the thing got sold out. I never wanted to make a big thing about it.
