How Long Til XM 202 Returns To Glory?

In June when Opie and Anthony return do you think XM 202 will be able to recover? Or will it just be a watered down version of what we had before? How long will it take for this to pass?

after thinking about it, I dont agree with that at all. whose to say that XM isnt doing this to save the boys? by just saying they are suspending them to save face maybe is just a cover up....and all the cancelling of subs from the members of the show is just a piece of the puzzle.....

I could be thinking way to much into this, but until I see some hardcore evidence that XM is trying to fuck over the boys the way WE (the fans) are making it seem, I'll support the product that I've bought into for the past 4 years.....

I believe that when O&A are back, yes...it'll be different.........but give it time, it'll all come back to normal...

I agree 100% with Moe, the whole point of getting Xm was it was uncensored period. Everything will just be watered down. I'm sure even Ron & Fez are being pressured to watch what they say or it'll be their asses. I can't blame them either, it's their livelyhood on the line. I think that it'll never be the same.

Exactlly. I'm waiting it out a little too, but seriously, what kind of environment will O&A come back to? We were already worried about what Stern would have to say about their role with the combined company, now they have to watch what they say on a pay channel?

I don't know, it's just all fucked up now and 202 will never be able to return to it's full former glory.

Ron and Fez are still putting on a fun, entertaining show but I worry about their future too.

XM just ruined 202, period and I'm like 60% on canceling my sub right now, but not 100% just yet.

i think ron would want us to do whatever opie wants. my opinion is opie wants us to cancel XM in solidarity.

if O&A dont survive 202 is finished. R&F might be on a post-merger channel but in a stern-driven atmosphere they will be very much outsiders.

(certain sites for pals) will be streaming R&F... once whis blows over i fully intend to re-subscribe to XM.

i am doing this is a gesture of support for O&A and the kind of talk radio R&F want to continue to do.

Be honest here. Why did you sign up to XM?

Did you sign up to hear O&A (and, or) R&F, because that’s where they were? Or... did you sign up because 202 was advertised as being “uncensored’?

Both shows have talked about how, the concept of satellite radio, was an untested media. Both shows knew there would come a day, when limits would appear. This is not the end of “The Great Experiment”. It’s a continuing process. Satellite radio has blurred the lines, when it comes to acceptable content. The past week is proof of that.

Incredible and encouraging debate has been brought to “mainstream media”, because of this (there has been a wonderful PEARL of a spokeswoman).

It’s very important to keep the recent issues alive. It doesn’t matter if you call it “censorship” , “corporate responsibility”, or “political correctness”. The important thing is to keep the debate (and certain action) alive.

But, I ask again....

Did you sign up to hear the shows, or the uncensored speech? Here’s my answer. I signed up to hear The Ron & Fez Show.

it was unrestricted, uncensored.... and even if the talent is allowed to return, the content will never be as free.

i'm not saying it won't be good, but it's not going to be what we all bought into in the first place.
