I was there yesterday for the third year in a row. Also for the third year in a row, I got past the test to the interview. I'm supposed to get a postcard in two weeks letting me know if I got to the contestant pool or not. But I'm not getting my hopes up too high as I've been shot down twice before. I must suck at interviews.

Sweet! I have a try-out the day after Memorial Day.
Good luck.
BTW, my friend tried out a couple weeks ago, and he said there was a lot of pop culture on his test (he didn't make the cut).

Eh, I didn't pass when I tried out, either. It was crazy-making, because it would be like, who participated in the French/Indian war, and then, what kind of housepaint does Martha Stewart endorse?
My favorite part of tryouts were the Intern-led warmup games, which led a roomful of people to scream "MERTZ!" as one. From Honeymooners, natch.

To follow up on my post earlier in this thread (and because I'm too lazy to start a new topic), I passed my Millionaire test today and went through a brief interview. I'll be finding out in a few weeks if my name will be thrown in to the contestant pool.
Yay me.

Hippo, the only reason why you failed is because you didn't want me as a phone a friend. your own twin brother.... flesh and blood... and I actually call the show...hence a perfect "phone a friend"... If I needed an "Internet Board a Friend" Id pick you...
