:: RFW comes back from commercial break. The crowd cheers as they eagerly anticipate the next match. Inside the ring, the pretty young ring announcer is ready to announce the participants. ::
Announcer: Our next contest is scheduled for one fall with a 15 minute time limit!
::Suddenly, the entire arena goes dark as on the Feztron a single number appears - 0. The 0 flashes several times across the screen, while ominous music plays in the background. The lights come back on as a single figure slowly walks into the ring. The man, Asian in appearance and dressed entirely in black, enters the ring, and promptly takes the microphone from the announcer, a stern look upon his face. He holds the mike up to his face.::
Zero: Allow me to introduce myself. The name is Zero. And I'm here in the RFW for two specific reasons: I plan to dominate this federation as I have done many, many others in the past. I will show each and every one of you what pure perfection really is. But furthermore, I plan to bring respect back into this business. For far too long, this business of pro wrestling has become a joke. Our business has become a soap opera. It's a movie of the week. We've been the laughing stock of the sports world.
::The crowd begins to boo. They obviously don't appreciate this man's opinion of their favorite pastime!::
Zero: I plan to change all of that. I will show you what true WRESTLING is all about. I will take your "sports entertainers", and I will turn them into pure athletes. By the time I am done with this federation, it will be looked upon with awe and respect.
Mr. Puchiello and I do not exactly see eye to eye on this. Our philosophies are different on this matter. But he has allowed me to come to the RFW because he knows what I am capable of. I have told you my plans, and they will come to pass! I will take this federation, and transform it into the most prestigious sports organization in the world! There are many fine "wrestlers" in the locker room..and I plan to face each and every one of them. They will face me in the only true battleground: this 4 cornered ring. I will fight them; I will beat them; I will make them suffer and scream and they will know the true meaning of what it is to be a professional wrestler. But when I am done, when I have put them through the crucible of pure wrestling excellence, they will emerge stronger, and better, than they were before.
I will bring glory and honor to this federation, and everyone in it, whether you - or they - like it or not.
Because this is the new beginning for professional wrestling. This is the new beginning of the RFW. This is the year ZERO - and no one will ever forget it.
:: Zero drops the microphone to the mat, and quietly walks back up the ramp and into the dressing room. The crowd doesn't quite know how to react, but none are exactly thrilled with what this young man has just said. ::
