I really wish there was some kind of rehab for people who have lost their edge. Where people like you and Chevy Chase could sit together, reminisce about what it was like to be funny, maybe widdle some wood, and take long walks on a path to nowhere (which is where you've always been going, even when the smoke clears you'll still be on a path to nowhere)

There's the pot calling the kettle black.

The only reason Dice Clay is talking about O&A and the suspension is because he knows that O&A can't respond and confront him right now.

Exactly...If he had balls he would have confronted Opie when they were on the phone together and not hung up. But Clay is a douche cause they can respond on the CBS show...and you know they would...which could lead to more trouble.

Douche(Dice) is just looking to irritate them. He has nothing better to do seeing where his comedy life is going down the toilet.

He needs to take those fucking stupid gloves off.......Who wears gloves like that eat dinner out?

O&A will straighten Dice out soon enough. I am sure that this won"t go UNNOTICED.

Get a life Dice.....I am funnier than you are. HA HA HA HA>>>

I don't know if you are funnier that Dice; Chris.

He's just as funny as he was when he was selling out arenas. You don't lose funny. The only problem is that his brand of humour has been passed by and he is unable to adapt.

He is still filthy rich off his comedy and he still has some humorous moments...he just picks aweful fights to jump into. Or maybe it's a good one, the limelight could ressurect things for him.

Nah, maybe not

F Giants Stadium.....he should be doing nursing homes....at least he will have a crowd there......an asleep crowd-but a full house non the less....

Still funny after all these years.....I should have my own show....

I agree with your 3rd paragraph, but I will add that this fight is far from over with O&A, it's like hitting a man when he is down....a cheap shot artist that can't take the heat.....

even his comparisons are old. Was throwing a pencil at the camera considered edgy back then?

Bingo.

At this point it's like saying "Hey! Look what Anthony Michael Hall thinks of O&A! I can't believe it!"

I misread the title of the thread. I thought Dice got suspended. But suspended from what?

I don't really get his point. He says that Opie is an unoriginal, mean spirited hack. Even if that's true, how does that relate to the suspension? I like how he seems to think Ant is blameless in the whole thing too.

Come on Chevy Chase was great (back in the day)

As for Dice, I miss the old Funny Dice. Back in 2000/2001 when I actually liked O&A, Dice was one of the reasons I started listening to the show. When Anthony would do his Dice impression when Dice was on the phone or when they would get him all crazed. The " I'm over here now" line would make me laugh everytime. The best was when Jay Mohr and Dice would go at it.

Fletch = one of the top 10 funniest movies of all time.

Dice is a Jew pretending to be Italian, he'll be boycotted off the airwaves faster than you can say, "doghouse".

For a brief moment in the late 70's, Chevy Chase was actually one of the coolest people on the planet.

He is a warning to us all as to just how far one can fall.
