I thought it was only fitting that my 10k post should be a congratulatory nod to my buddy Reillyluck for achieving the exact same milestone. Ms. Reilly's been an incredible asset to this board and I consider her a true friend. My life is that much richer for knowing her.

My life is much richer because of the Ron and Fez show and this messageboard as a whole. I am still flabbergasted to this day that so many of you have become true "real-life" friends of mine. I never would have believed it when I joined this place 6 years ago. At that point in time, I thought the internet was a place for misfits and weirdos, and for the most part I've been right. But my fellow dot netters are my kind of weirdos and I'm glad I've got you guys.

I looked up the word "community" in the dictionary and one of the definitions was as follows:

- a social group sharing common characteristics or interests and perceived or perceiving itself as distinct in some respect from the larger society within which it exists

That sums up this place pretty well. I've always said that at its best RonFez.net is an extension of the Ron and Fez show; a place where buddies hang out, shoot the shit, talk about nonsense, bust each others balls, and once in awhile discuss some weighty topics in an open forum. Sometimes there are arguments and fights, and every so often we lose a buddy or two. We also rally around and support one another too. Long time members will know exactly what I mean when I say it's impossible to explain RonFez.net to a non-member; they'd never understand. We've got something incredibly special here, and I thank everyone who keeps me interested and posting here.

I know some of you were expecting some incredible words of wisdom, and I don't want to disappoint you. With that in mind, I leave you with the chorus from the Bellamy Brothers' hit "Let Your Love Flow" -

congrats reilly!!! i have always had a special place in my heart for reilly because she was the first on this board to acknowledge me when i first posted. listening threads just aren't the same without reilly and she always has the best pics to post. i just have to make it down to a bar night to meet the lovely reillyluck (and maybe a few more of you beef-n-weckers)
