Sorry to be off topic, but I downloaded the audio from when Ron sent the list of names to the speaker at Fez's parents 50th. Holy shit that's fucking funny. If you haven't heard it....you gotta. Tossy the Salad is my favorite...

Fez: "Thank Goodness we're not going to have a 51st part"
Ron: "Oh why, are they sick?"
Fez: "No, we just won't go to to this expense."
Ron: "Oh, because they aren't getting any younger."
Fez: "That's for sure."

Another, but it's only funny if you know the rest of the story:

Fez:"When I was home for vacation, one of the things we had to do was my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary..."
Ron: "Mmm, how did that go?"

God they are the greatest. How can two people on the radio make me so happy?

Well, that's certainly a consideration. I just meant from a purely mechanical standpoint. With the way radio is automated these days, it seems that it should be a bit easier. Not to mention you'd think they'd have a system of ranking shows. That way when you need a best-of, you know directly which shows to go to.

Certainly, but remember this is something that was sprung on them. And during the time it was thrown at them they were doing 6 hours per day on-air alone.

It's not like they had a normal radio schedule with a few hours per day to spare.

I made the mistake of going to Wal-mart yesterday to get a key made. That is the most disgusting store I've ever been in. The shelves, the floors, the arrangements, the customers, the employees. Fucking depressing place.

there are 2 fucking wal-marts w/in 2 miles of my house, & also a Sam's Club, same owner... practically every local business has been destroyed by them.

I don't remember which comedian said it, but you go to Wal-Mart if you want to feel better about yourself. Your attitude will be either "Hey, at least I'm doing better than the poor assholes in here" or you think "Hey, I feel comfortable among 'my people'."

I paraphrased - it was a lot funnier the first time I heard it - and I don't think that way...

People have been saying the death of manufacturing in this country will kill this country since the early 80's. I doubt we'll ever actually see it.

He does sound like a good guy, but the concept of a "rock star" chef is pretty funny to me...

Why do people only blame Earl. He's the executive producer...but what about East Side Dolly & Pitz? They also draw paychecks as producers.

Because Earl is black.

Barbeque is probably the only thing that could bring the city folk and the hayseeds together.

Yum!

Germantown Commisary is my favorite barbeque place in Memphis. I do like Rendezvous too though.

do you come to the area much? Neely's BBQ is great - Interstate is also owned by one of the Neely brothers. Can't beat Memphis BBQ. I grew up on Houston BBQ and didn't know what I was missing till I came here.

I lived there for about 11 years, I used to work at the Mapco refinery (I think Valero owns it now) which was pretty close to Interstate. We used to go there all the time for lunch. My in-laws still still live there, so we come up once or twice a year. I find Houston barbeque to be almost inedible.

How about we lay off Earl?

How long has it been obvious there are issues with the replays and the best ofs...

Yes, it's been Earl's fault more often than not, but the boys keep him on it, so let's support their choice...there has to be some reason, regardless of whether we know it or not.
