From this link (http://movies.msn.com/movies/hitlist/05-30-07_3?GT1=7701)on MSN:
Is it any surprise that after "Transformers" got the big-screen treatment, a new version of "He-Man and the Masters of the Universe" would be in the works soon after? This past week, Variety announced that "Matrix" producer Joel Silver would be behind the reboot of the '80s franchise that spawned three popular animated TV series and sold millions of toys. It also, however, inspired a 1987 movie featuring Dolph Lundgren that was a complete and utter flop.
I don't know what to think about this. The recent rehash of the animated series was actually pretty good, so there may be some hope.
However, I think the selections for He-Man they picked in the article suck out loud. Who would you pick? I don't know enough buff, young guys to make the call.
EDIT: Can one of the Mods please fix the title so it reads "He-Man" instead of H-Man. Of course it virtually gaurantees Moe will read it...
