New Hampshire Magazine (http://www.nh.com/apps/pbcs.dll/section?Category=NHM) does a "Best of" every year and picked AMV as the best podcast in NH.

The magazine came out last week and my wife and I went to the big blow-out dinner at the Verizon Center. It was an insane eating frenzy...miles and miles of sampling tables. Wedding cakes, ice cream, bon bons in special golden papier, pancakes with syrup, crab, lobster, steak, pork, cotton candy, lamb, hamburgers, sausage, salmon, cookies, pastries, cupcakes, nuts, bread...I literally had one or two of every possible thing that a person could eat.

And then I went berserk.

After 15 minutes it was like I'd been mugging a crack pipe. Sugar and every variety of meat consumed in a short period leads to a Captain Freaky Foundation head. My pupils dilated to tiny little specks, I started to sweat and all my blood rushed to my fingertips. I had these very fat, numb hands...and I couldn't stop laughing!!! ha ha ha...food!!!

My wife said that she had never seen my look happier. And I was like: "But honey I was clinically insane with food poisoning..." And she was like "Yeah, whatever. You were happy."

I was.

I forgot to mention that the blurb writer misrepresented what I said about Ron & Fez. I just said that I sometimes wrote a song for them...and that that had been important to me in kind of coming out and expressing myself ina public way...and that became "Writer performer Sean Hurley has been getting some national attention with his alter ego. XM Radio jocks Ron and Fez even hired him for some voice work..."

Ugg...I'm glad that R&F got in there but blech..."national attention"..."hired him for some voice work"...
