This Is Not Really Thread-Worthy, But Fat's Sitting Here Doing Paperwork And He's Got "Live Rust" Playing And Neil Young Is Doing "Out Of The Blue And Into The Black". The Guy Cannot Sing At All And His Guitar Playing Is Amatuerish, And Yet This Song So Rocks!!!! It Could Be The Greatest Song Ever!

I have found myself listening to Decade on more than 1 occasion. And loving it. True, his voice is horrible, his guitar is as sloppy as that hump from Crankcase, but there is a certain something. Yes he could rock back in the day.
I had a similar thread way back when, aboot The Clash. Horrible musisians, but they also had that "something'.

"Cortez The Killer" from the same album blows it away.

Check out the interplay between Young's and Sampedro's guitars.

You Have To Admit He's One Of The 5 Greatest Songwriters Of The Last 50 Years. Fat Puts Him At The Top.

Too many great songs to mention.

You might want to check out "Live At The Filmore East With Crazy Horse".

NICE!

His music could always take me to another place. It made me think of being in the backwoods or swamps of missouri or louisiana

Yeah, she could drag me
over the rainbow,
send me away

Don't Worry, Fat Has Everything He Has Ever Done!

F_S Cannot Play Guitar, But He Can Play The Guitar Riff On Cinnamon Girl! Never Did A Song Get So Much Out Of Two Or Three Notes!

Cortez The Killer and Powderfinger are two songs I constantly put on the jukebox. Cortez can be a little mellow for a bar scene, but people will listen. They will listen!

Long May You Run
Cowgirl In The Sand
There Comes A Time

other favorites...

If you want to put Neil number 1 on the songwriters list, I won't argue.

I just gifted a 20 something friend of mine "Live Rust". He had never heard it before I played it at work. He said "Hey, this is really good."

I said "yeah, I know."

YES! YES!

And How About Going Way Back To Buffalo Spingfield:

On The Way Home
Broken Arrow

In Case Anyone Hasn't Figured It Out, Fat Would Be Happy To Go Back In Time 35-40 Years And Freeze Music In Place!
