(Ha, about 87 cents per unit and you've got to call in. I wouldn't hang on any customer service line for 30 minutes to get that credit. I never even called in to bitch about O&A...because I've been liking the the Ron&Fez 24/7.)
XM to Credit Customers for Blackout
6.01.2007
XM said it would credit U.S. customers who lost service due to its recent software-glitch signal outage, UPI reported.
Customers must call (800) XM-RADIO, or (800) 967-2346, to receive the two days’ worth of credit, XM said. “With a typical subscription costing about $13 a month, the refund would be about 87 cents,” the news agency reported.
The problem came from a software update loaded to “a critical component of the satellite broadcast system, which resulted in a temporary loss of signal” from the XM-3 satellite, XM said.
