Al is a prime example of someone who is bad at their job, but doesn't do anything wrong enough to require a firing (although I know this is an arguable point). Unfortunately, in most cases like this, the usual action taken is to promote. I really think eventually Al will be promoted to management, which will be better for the show, but says little about the powers that be, and perhaps the whole human race.

Having met Al Dukes for the first time Saturday night, My opinion of him has changed drastically. He is a very friendly guy and Really likes to have a good time. I also think that he would do anything for the show (Peeing his pants, for instance)

It's my humble opinion that he is great for the show and I look forward to his bits on it, Long Live Al!!

Having never met him, I do enjoy the character he has been developing. The "incompetent" foil to Ron and Fezz. Remember O&A use Earl for that on their show. If he were really that bad, don't you think Ron or Fezz would have had him gone by now? After all it is their show.
