View Full Version : Wish Me Luck
I've been off from work this week, burning vacation days in order to go on interviews. I had one yesterday and two more today.
The situation at my present job has hit near unbearable status so my hand has been forced.
Although part of me wants to go into a completely different field, I'm seeking employment with my current company's competition for the time being until I decide what to ultimately work toward.
The main thing I've learned from the take over at my current job is just how incredibly ruthless and illogical large corporations can be, and at the rate this conglomerate is buying up every company in my field, I'm sure that if I do take a new job I'll wind up working for these cocksuckers again down the line.
Maybe it's time to build that cabin in the woods and leave civilization for good.

Good Luck Gvac!! Two Small Words Of Advice: (1) No Matter How Bad It Gets At The Current Job, Don't Quit Unless And Until You Have Another Offer (In Writing) In Hand, And (2) Avoid The Temptation To "Tell People What You Really Think" When You Do Quit, For As You Said, You May Need To Go Back One Day. Don't Burn That Bridge! Good Luck!
